Welcome to “Amethyst Retreat” Pissouri, Cyprus

Do not miss this opportunity to rent this beautiful town house villa in what we consider to be one of the most picturesque parts of the world! Our villa is situated on the small, mainly (ex-pat residential) development named “Sunrise”.

If you are seeking a quiet, relaxing and tranquil holiday, then Pissouri is for you.

It has everything you need, Tavernas, bars, a butcher, baker, grocery and souvenir shops. Also several banks and cash machines are situated in the village square, only a five minute walk away.

If you feel like a bit of action, the beach is a five minute drive and offers abundant water sports, there are many bars and restaurants.

Pathos is a mere 20 minute drive and Limassol approximately 25 minutes. Pissouri is a perfect location for visiting all the major tourist attractions including: Tombs of the Kings, Coral Bay, Baths of Aphrodite, Adonis Waterfalls, Akamas Peninsular with Turtle hatchery, Troodos Mountians, many golf courses and much more!

The villa offers a shared pool only a minute walk away, sunbeds and beach towels are provided.

Internet Access

We have a pay as you go Wi Fi connection at Amethyst Retreat facilitated by means of an antenna on our roof. We can receive Pissouri-NET which is provided by our village internet café.

Air time can be bought from the internet café at the following rates.

1 week: €10
2 weeks: €15
4 weeks: €25

The weekly rate gives 24 hour usage.

Without the roof antenna the Wi Fi signal strength in the villa is very week. You can plug in to your lap top / notebook, the EDIMAX USB dongle attached to the antenna cable by the television to receive the enhanced signal. You may need to firstly down load the EDIMAX EW-7711USn driver into your device. This driver is available on the USB memory stick attached to the EDIMAX dongle.

If you have problems with you computer or the Wi Fi connection you could have a word with Markos at the internet café.
